WHAT IS INDUSTRIAL MACHINERY DESIGN?

The first phase is that of analysis, it is necessary to determine the set of functions that the machine will have to guarantee throughout its life cycle.
The design process involves studying the structural characteristics, evaluating the type and quantity of materials with the aim of identifying a solution that avoids waste and makes the best use of resources, in line with the principles of the circular economy.
The design must also take into account all aspects related to maintenance, which are of fundamental importance.
Finally, it is necessary to ensure the free movement of machinery within the single market and at the same time protect the safety of people, which can only be achieved by knowing and applying all the regulations and directives in force, first of all the Machinery Directive.
